Our Story
Palermo’s Italian Bakery is a local, family-owned and operated business established in 1961. Our roots go back to the 1920s when our bakery owner’s grandfather started Palermo’s in Sicily. Domenic then continued to follow in his family’s footsteps. We have catered for stars, from Barbara Streisand to Kristen Davis to the memorable Mother Teresa.
Now, our bakery is affiliated with the Italian American Club, Susan G. Komen, the Boca Raton Hotel, the Boynton Beach Woman’s Club and much more! We have been a part of the Macy’s Food Tour for more than 20 years. We regularly appear on the local TV news highlighting the bakery or showing how to cook a famous Italian dessert.
We are also proud members of the Chamber of Commerce for the Boynton Beach and Delray Beach areas. To give back to the community and be a supporting name is how we pride ourselves.

All their desserts are homemade right there at the location. This is a true Italian authentic bakery. Their prices are absolutely amazing. I told them they were too low. We got the carrot cake, a true New York coffee crumb cake, and a cannoli, and they had me try their biscotti that was out of this world!

An absolute gem! Just found this bakery after moving to the area and it’s everything you could want and more. The service was incredible from the moment I walked in. The staff was very welcoming and was even given a sample of one of their cookies to try before buying. Everything tastes heavenly and so fresh!

Went this afternoon with family, and ordered a bunch of things to split and try. Joanne was incredibly kind. She offered recommendations and was patient as we went back and forth ordering things. Everything we tried was so good, and the service was so lovely. I cannot wait to go back!!
