Palermo’s Bakery is delighted to introduce a new product that has been cherished in our family for generations: Organic Crunch. This special recipe was created 74 years ago by our grandmother, Nadina, in our bakery in Sicily, and it has a unique and heartfelt story behind it.
Nadina loved baking, but she noticed that every time she ate flour products, she developed a rash. At the time, no one could figure out the cause. Determined not to give up on her passion, she decided to experiment with flourless baking. Using her old-fashioned brick oven and wooden tables, she crafted a simple recipe using only natural ingredients: nuts, berries, honey, and plenty of egg whites.
Our Story
After numerous trials, Nadina finally perfected her creation.
The cookies were delicious, though they didn’t have the most appealing appearance. Nevertheless, they quickly became a hit among the neighbors, who loved the unique taste and the fact that they were
made with wholesome ingredients. Eventually, Nadina discovered
that she was allergic to flour, and her innovative cookies became a staple in our family.

Today, the Palermo’s family is excited to bring you Organic Crunch. These cookies are not only a delicious treat but also a tribute to Nadina’s ingenuity and determination. Made without flour, they are perfect for those with similar sensitivities and are lower in calories thanks to their natural ingredients.
